I and my husband Bob moved to Harrisonburg in August 2013 from Dalton, OH. We were married in 1982 and have three adult married children, and nine beautiful grandchildren.
My first career was as an LPN, and then as a homemaker. During those years I became more involved in church activities and was affirmed for having teaching and leadership gifts. After this, God led me to Camp Luz in Orrville, OH where I served as Executive Director for eleven years. During that time I completed a Master of Divinity degree through Ashland Seminary in Ashland, OH in 2010. I left camp ministry in 2011 and worked part-time as a Hospice Chaplain and part-time as interim pastor at Beaverdam Mennonite Church in Corry, PA. In the summer of 2013 Lindale Mennonite Church in Linville, VA extended an invitation to me to serve as Associate Pastor of Christian Formation and Youth, where I served for over 8 years.
I am excited to serve as pastor at Wakemans Grove, where God's people have welcomed my husband and I. What a blessing to walk together as we follow Jesus faithfully.
I love to garden, crochet, sew, draw and paint, be with friends, laugh, visit thrift stores, and refinish furniture!
